Japanese Transportation

There where many forms of Japanese transportation in ancient times. An example is a boat or a
Horse-drawn cart as another. Many men in the Japanese armies rode Horses, as shown above.

Japanese Yamato Dynasty

The Yamato dynasty was the biggest and longest dynasty ever. It still is in process today. It does not have ninja and samurai, but they have guns and the modern weapons and some of the same ancient cultures and farming. Many people still use Katanas for cultural reasons. It started many years ago when the son of Susanoo had a kingdom with lots of wars and Amateratsu's oldest son took over. Amateratsu's son was the first Yamato king.

Japanese Symbols Language

One big thing in Japan is the symbols, because the symbols are their writing. That was modern day, but the old symbols can be very different, "hiragana" is what some old writing style was called. It is interesting that two, but only two were removed from hiragana, though the rest remain. Another anceint way of writing is "katakana," used for buddhist scripture.in this style there are two no longer used either. Japanese is 日本語 in Japanese and ニホン語 is "Nihon language".

Japanese Farming and food.

Farming was pretty hard being on the sea since they got flooded every few months or so and they would have to do it all over again so they would plant rice and wheat to make dumplings and they would kill animals to feed. The royalty had many of the more expensive foods like noodles and dumplings and fish and rice and rice cakes. But the money was totally different from Euros or Paysos or Dollars they had there own unique type of money they where called yen they had 10 yen 100 yen and maybe a 1000 yen. Some farmers relyed on gardens to live to sell rope and string and plants of all sorts like oregano. Many people relied on farmers to provide food just like farmers rely on them selves to provide food for their families. Some went wrong and poisoned somepeople and where either exiled or killed. The farmers where under a lot of pressure because they had to provide the next used source of food to fish. Now to talk about fish. There was a very special Japanese dish it was a poison pufferfish that people would eat to prove their bravery. But many died because of it. If the chefs cut the liver wrong the eater would die and the chef would have no honour for killing the person so he might commit harry carry.

Samurai the warrior and artist of old

Samurai where the knights of Japan. They where controled by the Shogunates who where under the Emperor of all of Japan. The Emperor counted on his Shogunates to control the land like the generals we use today. the Samurai where used to keep the peace against rebels who did not like the way the country was run. the early Samuri armour was like a big cardboard box with arm holes and metal plates with a helmet on top. the next type of armour was suitable for horseback combat but still protected from harmful things. then the best armour of all was designed. the Samurai armour with a mask and plates of metal had a sword because the earlier models of armour had boe staffs as weapons instead only high classes had swords at the time. allthough Samurai where soldiers they where also artists. With their spare time, some would paint, some would dance, some would sing, and some would make hiaku poems. This is an example of a hiaku:
As the wind does blow
Across the trees, I see the
 Buds blooming in May.
a hiaku is a poem that does not have to rhyme but it must have 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables.
Some Samurai would also make zen gardens which where used for serenity and peace. A zen garden consists of sand and stone made into nice desgins they where carefully raked to look like the sea.
